Synergizing Human, Space, and Nature
Among these, the Berawa outlet stands as its flagship "premium" establishment, distinguished by a curated selection of upscale merchandise not typically found in other locations.
The central aim of this initiative is to reimagine Japanese traditional aesthetics within a framework of modernity and contemporaneity. Drawing upon shared architectural elements between traditional Japanese design and contemporary sensibilities, such as elevated floor levels, water features including ponds, intricately woven bamboo, and the discerning use of natural wood materials, this project seeks to harmonize tradition with innovation.

The utilization of wooden slats spanning the expanse of the building is a deliberate choice aimed at maximizing the infusion of natural light into the interior spaces. However, it is imperative to mitigate the potential adverse effects of direct sunlight, such as fabric deterioration. Thus, meticulous design considerations have been implemented to address this concern.
The arrangement of the wooden slats is strategically devised to permit the ingress of natural light while concurrently regulating its intensity. This thoughtful approach ensures that ample illumination suffuses the rooms, fostering an inviting atmosphere, while simultaneously safeguarding delicate fabrics from the detrimental impact of direct sunlight exposure.
By harmonizing the architectural elements in this manner, we achieve an optimal balance between luminosity and fabric preservation, thereby enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and functional integrity of the space.
