The central aim of this initiative is to reimagine Japanese traditional aesthetics within a framework of modernity and contemporaneity. Drawing upon shared architectural elements between traditional Japanese design and contemporary sensibilities, such as elevated floor levels, water features including ponds, intricately woven bamboo, and the discerning use of natural wood materials, this project seeks to harmonize tradition with innovation.

However, it is imperative to mitigate the potential adverse effects of direct sunlight, such as fabric deterioration. Thus, meticulous design considerations have been implemented to address this concern.

The arrangement of the wooden slats is strategically devised to permit the ingress of natural light while concurrently regulating its intensity. This thoughtful approach ensures that ample illumination suffuses the rooms, fostering an inviting atmosphere, while simultaneously safeguarding delicate fabrics from the detrimental impact of direct sunlight exposure.
