This design choice makes the billiard tables become the focal point of this space. Simultaneously, the incorporation of black lamps, which harmonize with the exposed ceiling design, adds an appealing visual dimension that seamlessly blends with other design elements at Brooklyn Billiard, such as the leather-finished sofas. Everything comes together in harmony with the industrial theme featuring raw materials.
Central to this communal space is the bar, strategically situated at the heart of the hall and enveloped by the seating area. Above it, there’s also another seating area where visitors can watch the billiards game below.

Additionally, we also provide a seating area encircling the billiard tables, primarily intended for the players to hangout and put their belongings. Interestingly, this seating area is positioned near the square windows. The presence of windows on the side facing the street ensures that visitors don't feel confined indoors; instead, they feel connected to the outdoor space. The windows help us to bring in the sunlight, bathe the interior space, and also seamlessly blend the industrial concepts with raw materials like exposed bricks and steel.
The use of unfinished bricks as a prominent architectural element is intentional. Beyond commemorating Brooklyn ambiance, these bricks offer a tactile visual appearance, providing a contrast to the billiard tables within. Moreover, the choice of the industrial style serves several purposes. It pays homage to Bali’s rich history as a hub for trade and craftsmanship, emphasizing authenticity and timelessness. Concurrently, the exposed bricks and the open ceiling configuration greatly augment the acoustic characteristics of the space. This ensures an optimal environment for players to concentrate on their game while also socializing with friends.
Another crucial aspect is the precise arrangement of the billiard tables. The configuration of these tables holds a significant role in maximizing the available functional space. We chose to arrange the tables in a linear arrangement with appropriate spacing between the tables. This spacing ensures that players have sufficient room to move around the table, align their shots accurately, and play comfortably without feeling cramped. Furthermore, the clear pathways between tables facilitate easy movement for the guests, granting them access to amenities such as the bar or restroom, thus creating a seamless and enjoyable ambiance. Beyond enhancing the visual aesthetics and overall welcoming ambiance, this well-organized layout simplifies table maintenance and provides staff with straightforward access to regular cleaning and servicing.
On the other hand, the lighting arrangement also takes center stage. It's not just about illuminating the surroundings; it's about creating an enchanting ambiance that enhances the billiards experience. At Brooklyn Billiard, four luminaires are thoughtfully positioned directly above the center of each billiard table. This arrangement ensures precise visibility and accuracy during gameplay while minimizing shadows, thus preventing inaccuracies. The use of lighting is deliberately focused solely on the billiard tables, with dark and intimate lighting.
