P House is built on a tight site with limited depth, so the planning had to be sharp.

Synergizing Human, Space, and Nature

Every space is organized with intent—efficient, functional, and still connected to open air. Despite the constraints, each room maintains a relationship with the outdoors, keeping the house feeling breathable and open.

The client wanted something with character, but not noise. The direction pulls from French architecture—windows, proportions, and light ornamental touches—but it’s all stripped back. The result is composed, not decorative. Controlled, not excessive.

A restrained palette carries through the entire house. Tones sit close to each other, creating warmth without trying too hard. It doesn’t scream for attention. It reveals itself gradually.
Setbacks from the boundaries give the house room to breathe. Openings are placed with precision—balcony to the front, windows on all sides—so light and views are always part of the experience. The spatial quality relies less on size, more on how everything connects.

That connection is most evident on the ground floor. Living and dining open directly to the garden, extending the space beyond its physical limits. When fully opened, the boundary disappears. The house expands.
Inside, the language stays consistent. French references are there, but subtle. The approach is minimal, with focus placed on custom elements that respond directly to how the client lives.

Some of these elements are unapologetically personal. The main door handle—designed as a snake—sets the tone immediately. It’s not just a detail, it’s a statement.
That continues into the foyer, where a snake aquarium becomes part of the arrival sequence. It’s specific, unexpected, and entirely intentional.

The base palette is clean—predominantly white—to keep everything calm and controlled. This is layered with checkerboard marble flooring in the shared areas, adding rhythm and a quiet nod to classic European interiors without feeling nostalgic.
Contrast comes through in a more measured way. Dark lighting fixtures—pendants and chandeliers—cut through the space, adding depth without overpowering it. Materials like marble, wood, and soft textiles build a layered environment that feels refined but still comfortable.

In the end, it’s a balance. Architecture, interior, and lifestyle are aligned without overstatement. The house doesn’t rely on one defining gesture—it’s the accumulation of precise decisions that give it identity.
