Our client envisioned a family home that balances openness and privacy, with large openings to welcome natural light and foster a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
Synergizing Human, Space, and Nature
Facing west, they sought to minimize solar heat gain while maintaining comfort and brightness. Privacy was also essential, as they wanted a design that feels open yet secluded from neighbors. They also desired a home that integrates naturally with its surroundings, incorporating greenery and natural elements to create a harmonious and tranquil retreat for their family.
Cemagi Villa is a masterpiece of modern architecture, seamlessly blending form and function to create a home that feels both serene and sophisticated. Facing west, the villa’s façade is meticulously designed to mitigate the tropical sun’s intensity without sacrificing light or comfort. Textured walls and vertical facade shield the interiors from harsh sunlight, diffusing it into a soft, ambient glow that fills the living spaces with warmth and brightness. This clever interplay of light and shadow ensures the home remains cool and inviting, a retreat perfectly suited to its natural surroundings.
